Editorial Review for Zante's Pizza and Indian Cuisine – by Marta Saunders
In Short
The space inside is large and colorful, with pink walls and enough seating for a large family banquet. Locals know food here is cheap and plentiful, and constantly bring in first timers to broaden their palette with something new. Eschewing the usual tomato-based pizza sauce, Zante's uses a spicy spinach sauce, and tops their pies with chicken or lamb, ginger, green onions, and garlic. If you're not in the mood for pizza, there's always tandoor-roasted chicken, lamb, beef, and shrimp, and a large selection of vegetarian dishes.

I had the misfortune to dine in for lunch. There were mosquitos buzzing around our food and biting us too. The stinky smell in the dingy dine in area is absolutely gross. The pizza was good...but dont order any of the indian fare in the menu, the potatoes and peas were stale and the raita was a joke. The dal was bland and the naan was burnt. The serving potions are a pity for the prices. I had the oppurtunity to peek in to the kitchen and its nothing like the photos put in the website. One look at the place is enough to make your stomach hurl. I will never step into this place again even if Iam starving
Pros: Pizza was OK
Cons: Terrible place , Health inspectors need to visit them

Delicious pizza, BUT...terrible service, especially if you're having it delivered. When you give them a call after an hour or so they then tell you "the driver just left five minutes ago." When you call back 1/2 an hour later, they say "the driver is almost there--5 minutes." I've had this happen to me about five times too many (yes, I'm a sap). Tonight they took literally 2 hours and 40 minutes to get the pizza too me. The driver was very rude when I said I called to cancel the pizza about 15 minutes prior (they put me on hold and then hung up on me when I tried to get them to cancel my credit card--no fooling) . I'm sad to say that I've eaten my last Zante's.
Pros: Great veggie Indian pizza
Cons: Unexcusable, unforgiveable service
