Irish and Indian might seem like strange bedfellows for a North Beach locale, but one visit to this enormous, low-key hangout and the combination seems clear: Part atmospheric pub with more than 200 beers and wines (including all-day $5 pitchers of PBR); part exotic dining room with sit-down Indian fare including curries, dosas and utthappam. A games room with two pool and two air hockey tables, arcade games and darts, and souvenir shop complete the smorgasbord.

Kennedy's pub and curry house has the best beer selection and mouth-watering Indian cuisine, not to mention an original South Indian menu, with dining until 1 am. It's hard to say what is drawing celebrities and musicians to Kennedy's: the foosball, internet jukebox, venue across the street, or location. Places like this don't really exist, except in dreams.
Pros: Voted Best Indian Cuisine in San Francisco. North and South Indian Cuisine.

This is one place that the locals cherish. You can eat good food, including beers, for under $20. What more can you ask for? They even have DirecTV sports packages, so you can watch just about any game live. Multiple happy hours and "buy now drink later" token system makes Kennedy's unbeatable in San Francisco. Try it, you'll like it! Check out their web site for discount food coupon.
